About TriMerge

TriMerge is a number-merging puzzle game where you slide tiles on a grid to combine numbers and create the highest values possible. Starting with 1 + 2 =3, you will need to rearrange tiles and combine matching numbers to form higher numbers that are multiples of 3.

TriMerge: Game Rules and Objectives

Played on a 4×4 grid, your goal in TriMerge is to slide numbered tiles to combine them and produce higher numbers. 1 and 2 are the smallest number values; you need to merge them (1 and 2) to create “3” numbered tiles. From there, match tiles of the same value to have bigger numbers, such as 3 + 3 = 6, 6 + 6 = 12, etc.

Keep in mind these rules:

  • 1 will only add with 2
  • 2 will only add with 1
  • Use grid edges to add 1 and 2 together.
  • Only identical multiples of 3 can merge.
  • A new tile appears after every move.
  • The game ends when there’s no possible move.

Aim to create the highest multiples of 3 possible with your moves! That’s the major objective.

How to Play TriMerge

You’ll see a mix of 1s, 2s, and 3s on the grid. Swipe the screen (on mobile) or use arrow keys (on PC) to slide all the tiles on the board in one direction (up, down, left, or right). The challenge is to keep the board from filling up while strategically merging tiles to reach the highest possible number.

Plan ahead and merge tiles logically

Remember, 1 + 2 = 3 is the only exception, and from 3 onward, tiles only merge with identical values. Before sliding, observe the grid and plan your moves strategically to merge as many tiles as possible at once. Multiple merges in a single move help clear more space while increasing your score significantly.

Keep going until stuck

The game ends when the board is full and no merges are possible. The game calculates your final score by adding the values of all tiles. Of course, the bigger the numbers, such as 48, 96, 192, etc., the better your score turns out.

Game controls:

  • Swipe the touchscreen or use arrow keys to slide tiles in one direction (up, down, left, or right).
