The core of gameplay revolves around safety landing your character on a series of platforms scattered across Mars. It may sound simple, but lifting off a platform and landing softly on the next one might be much more challenging than you thought. Here are the detailed instructions:
Understand the controls
- Hold the Left arrow or A to activate the left thruster
- Hold the Right arrow or D to activate the right thruster
- Hold both the left and right arrows to slow the fall
Launch the astronaut from a platform
To start, hold the A or left arrow key to activate the jetpack’s left thruster, lifting off and launching your astronaut forward. As you move forward, gravity will naturally pull you downward, so keep an eye on your trajectory and control it if needed (by activating the left/right Thruster).
Manage the fuel
Your jetpack uses fuel every time you thrust. However, fuel is limited. If you waste too much fuel on a thrust, you may run out before reaching the next platform, leading to failure. In most cases, short, controlled bursts are much better than constant thrusting.
Make a soft and precise landing
This is the most important part of the game. You’ll crash if you hit the platform too hard or come in at a bad angle. Use both the left and right thrusters to precisely control your descent and ensure a safe, gentle landing on the next platform. Timing and balancing the descent is the key. If you crash, you’ll instantly respawn at your last checkpoint, giving you another chance to perfect your landing.

As you progress, you unlock new astronauts with unique designs. Also, you’ll discover different environments and beautifully designed landscapes, so keep pushing forward to navigate new areas on Mars.
