Cowboy Safari Gameplay Breakdown
The game offers a great combination of endless runner, animal collecting, and zoo building & management. Your goal in this adventure is to lasso, ride, and tame as many wild animals as possible, from buffalo to nimble zebras, massive elephants, ferocious lions, and more. Once tamed, these animals are added to your floating zoo and earn in-game money from visitors. Aim to tame and befriend many rare animals to build the zoo and increase income. But be careful; this is not an easy task since you can get thrown off at any time. Use your quick reflexes and skillful moves to jump and master the ride instead of getting bucked off!
Hold tight & Befriend More Animals
In Cowboy Safari, players have 2 major missions: one is to capture and tame animals, then bring them to the zoo; the other is to build and upgrade the zoo to attract more visitors for better earnings. Basically, this is the core loop:
- Ride and tame animals
- Add more animals to the zoo to increase the ticket value
- Build and upgrade the animal habitats
- Continue to ride and capture animals

Lasso new animals
Hold to aim your lasso at a nearby animal. Target perfectly, and when you feel it’s right to jump on that animal, simply press the spacebar or click your mouse to jump and land on it. While lassoed, you must hold position until taming is complete. Remember, each animal has a unique behavior; for example, some are fast, while some are unpredictable. Use your reflexes and master the ride to go the distance while befriending new animal friends along the way.
Avoid getting thrown and colliding
Stay aware of each animal’s patience bar. If the animal becomes angry (starts bucking), jump to a new one quickly, or they will buck you off. At the same time, avoid colliding with other animals or obstacles to keep your ride alive.
Build and manage your sky zoo
Tamed animals are added to your zoo collection. Use coins to upgrade the enclosures and attract more visitors. Visitors generate income, which funds further upgrades and exploration.
